In Diablo I, each class had much more in common than in subsequent games. I don't think the development of those games have been affected.Artwork for Diablo I classes from left to right, the Sorcerer, Warrior and Rogue. Hell HotS, has had more character rework patches since they "abandoned" it than before. I mean, HS, HotS, and OW all have mtx as their main source of income, all three have very passionate devs trying to make the best game possible. I doubt we will see loot boxes or anything, but the good old days of a game and expansions supporting 100% of development are over mostly. But I'm still waiting on that slippery slope to get slippery in WoW from 2008. I did some research and I think they only do mtx for D3 China, but you never know.I can understand that. You can disagree of course, but that's just what I observed over the years. Main reason being that microtransactions always affect the development of the game, especially if they turn out to be more profitable. I'm not interested in starting a mtx discussion, so I will just leave it by saying I prefer a clean business model involving a game that needs to be bought and expansions every once in a while. ![]()
